Personal – Born in Orlando, Florida 04/18/69 and currently residing in Apopka Fl., Husband to Kathie Berry and Father of five: Kourtnie Berry, Soph. /Basketball (Rollins College), Kasie Berry, Junior/Basketball( West Oaks Christian Academy), Joel Berry jr. 8^th grade (Apopka Middle,  Team Stat Basketball), and the Twins Kellie and Jared, 1^st grade.

Educational/High School – Graduated from Orlando Oakridge High School, 1987, lettered in three sports: Football, Basketball, and Track and Field.  Voted as an Adidas All-American Football player and received All- Metro conference honors in basketball and track and field.

Educational/College – Received a Football Scholarship to Attended the University of Central Florida. Football Career ended after knee surgery in ‘89- Continued Education up to ’91, non-degreed.

Educational/College – Everglades University – Presently Pursuing a BA in Degree in Construction Management.

Community Involvement – Founder and President of the Mountain Foundation, Inc., a 501©3 not for profit organization organized in 1996 to promote health, education, and deter violence in impoverished communities. Coach Berry notes, “for the last 14 years I have been very active in the community and personally. I’ve coached with many good organization including the Orlando Dynasty Girls 10u(7^th in the nation)’01-‘02 and Jack Givens Orlando Comets organization for girls 14u( We took 9^th in the nation)’05-’06. I’ve also spent many years assisting Dennis Davis and Reggie Oliver coaching the post players and coaching strength/conditioning . Having a Martial Arts  and competitive power lifting background I have really been able to instill the love of getting in shape for the sport into this fine group of players.”
