What I’ve been up to
I thought I would touch base before heading over to my Youth Basketball Academy at Premier Courts in Gilbert, AZ. I am looking forward to showing the kids a thing or two. I saw some of the kids in April and I was very impressed. It should be a fun week.
I have taken the past week off to just relax and get off the court for a bit. We have been going hard for the past couple months and I just needed to relax. I am still very disappointed that we lost in the Western Conference Finals. We had an amazing season and got so close to our goal. We wanted to win for ourselves, the team, the city of Phoenix and all Suns fans. We left it all on the court but I still wanted the win.
After camp I am doing some promotions for my record label. We are shooting the first video for our artist, Judge and his new single “Money All Around Me” at different locations in Phoenix this weekend, @HypRecords has been tweeting about it. So check it out. We are also adding more promotions with my facebook store this week as well.
Thanks for all of the kind comments on Facebook and Twitter. I appreciate the continued support.
Peace.
Amar’e

Hi! I spoke to you last week while you were on vacation (the blonde chick talking about the Havalinas while we were having lunch). I had no idea who you were at the time, but now that I do know, I wanted to tell you how impressed I am that you are just a regular nice guy. Wish you the best in all your endeavors and hope you had a relaxing week!
I was disappointed to see that your camp already started. I have been looking out for your camp for my son who is 9 years old and plays basketball everyday. He is a big fan of yours. he attends the Phoenix Suns Camp Overnight and has been wishing to meet you. How can we get on your mailing list to sign up for next summer. My son thinks your incredible. we thought the suns were awesome this year and have been dye hard fans every year. We hope you stay here in Phoenix, We think you guys have a shot for next year finals…
Will you be promotin the whole summer? if so are you gonna travel to other states to promote him?? if you do u should come to Florida, Miami to be exact!! I hope you enjoyed the camp and interacting with all those children!!
amare you are the best and i hope you stay with the suns
I was also disappointed on your loss to the Lakers. I am a hug fan of the Suns, but I will follow you to any team you go to! I got alot of heat for wearing my PHX shirt to the SA game on Mother’s day, May 9, It was a great present. Good Luck with everything! Much love from Austin, TX!
Amare, you speen and aggression is what got me interested in basketball…PLEASE stay in Phoenix!!! we need you!
Hey Amare. I attended your camp, and was surprised at how well it went. You are a great guy because you do so much for the youth. You should most defenitleystay here in Phoenix and continue your prosperous career. I cannot believe that Nike donated all of those things (If they did donate them) I am enjoying my gifts. Keep up your camp, and I cant wait to see you next year!
Dear Amare,
As a life long Suns fan and native (49 years) of Phoenix, I have really enjoyed watching you play. You are easily one of my all-time favorite Suns. The intensity and dedication you bring to the floor is unmatched! I know that you have a hard decision to make this off season. Just know that you have a great deal of fans in Phoenix who want you to stay. We can’t always be at the games or make ourselves known to you, but we are here!!! Thanks again for everything!
I am so glad to see where you are. God has blessed you and you’re willing to give that in return. Our African-American men don’t have the best tract record, but men like you bring us back on track. Me and my son LOVE watchinfg you so please stay home in Pheonix and good luck with everything in life.
Amare,
Where to begin, I am up right now it is ten after one AM, looking up any news yet; hints on your free agency status. I truly hope you decided to stay in Phoenix; i for one think Phoenix Suns will not be the same without Amare despite what them “KTAR local meatballs say”…i only tune in to hear more about our STAR player! Although i follow you on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace (not sure if that one is you), Stat-TV YouTube, and this your website I can’t get enough! i watch your videos, once twice, and others in each i find new reasons why i am your biggest (literally) fan! During Playoffs i heard lots of awful things that the media were talking and from that, i hope only an ounce is true that would mean the reason for your departure from Phoenix, i would understand it. I will follow you no matter who you play for, I have watch you become such a force to the game I adore, watch and truly favor.
cont…i worry that your restaurant Stoudemire’s no longer being your place is not a sign of your decision come July 1st. I hate to sound like a groupie/stalker (NOT SO) lol, BUT i truly enjoy watching you play for Phoenix, i am a HUGE Phoenix Suns fans and this past season was so much fun from game one i knew we were gonna be a force people would not like to reckon with… Please stay in Phoenix. Ok i think now that i got it off my chest, i hope you had a great Father’s Day! Good night
Stat’s fan,
@iliana369
Come’on Mr Stoudemire, July 1st is around the corner.. “Should I stay or should I go” lol..
Man, we hope you stay. I was listening to one of your interviews just after the All Star Break, and wanted to commend you on your boldness to talk about The Lord. Tthe fact you use your God-given talent, and do not hide your light under a bushel. I beleive you said something to the tune- “We’ll pray and wait on God for the answer”. Something to that effect.
Anywho brother, keep the faith and May God continue to bless your family.
Charles
Me and two of my buddies saw you at lunch today. We were going to ask to take a picture with you, but thought it would be too tacky because you were with your daughter. Anyway, we hope to see you in next year’s championships.
Hey Amar’e just thought I would tell you that yesterday i went on a helicopter ride over the grand canyon with grand canyon flights and when i got off i saw a picture of you and your wife getting ready to get on the same helicopter, number 43 and i almost fainted because you are one of my favorite players including Steve Nash.
hope you have a great summer
Luke
Amare,
I know the money that other offer will be tempting but please don’t leave Phoenix. You are one of the best talents that they have had for years and it would be so devastating if you leave. You are a hero here but no telling what the fans reaction will be where you go to.
I realise my opinion has no bearing considering all the other factors you may consider but I am sure that my feelings are shared by a large majority of Suns fans.
Regardless, I hope your decision leavves you happy and fufilled.
Roger
Amar’e, please don’t leave Phoenix. The Sun’s will not be the same w/out you. PLEASE!!
But, nevertheless, best of luck to you,
Michelle
Chandler, AZ
Amare, you are the man!!! Please stay in Phoenix…next year we are winning the whole thing (only if you are here though)I .
I hope doing what is best for you is staying here!!!!
Your biggest Fan!!!!
I like the way you smash the ring with your sweet SUNS jersey so please stay for us…your fans don’t want you to leave pheonix because you are the fuel that charge a big comeback…… but i am still happy if you decide to leave pheonix…GodBless and Please stay with NO.1
Amare,
Well it looks like you are leaving. We are all going to miss you! Don’t let New York get the best of you. Many an all-star has gone to play in New York and has never been the same. Just remember that the fans in NY can sometimes be a little rude ( OK a lot rude). Keep your head up and remember it’s not always about the money (OK maybe it is). Good luck and thanks for the last 8 years!
what you should have been up to is keeping loyalty to the suns and not selling out to the other teams because you’ve got dollar signs in your eyes! It wont be the same without you and you are a fantastic player, but It has been much said, that the biggest reason your so great is because of the Nash chemistry… Good luck with everything.. But you should have stayed.
Just make sure that the grass really is greener. NY fans, Coach Mike, no Nash, cost of living, Phoenix fans that love you etc etc etc…. Good luck & we will miss you!
We are going to miss your smiling face at Biltmore lunch eateries. I met you at CPK and Cheesecake Factory.
As for New York being greener, grass is green where you water it.
Thanks for 8 great, entertaining basketball years.
Amare. I watched the Suns, because of you. I will miss you.
Now your a Knick! I wanted you tp stay a sun till the day you retired and you and Nash needed to win it all this year and all the guys on your team worked hard but I think you may have worked a little harder and I dont think they will be able to make it next year without you
You are my favorite player. Nash to Amare the best pick and roll tandem since stockton to malone. That will be missed. Your jumper improved year by year Your furious dunks kept getting better and better except for when u dunked on adonal foyle! lol. My bestfriend was your barber out here and to us we couldnt believe it! You were more than just an nba star you were STAT! More than an underrated player you were The NBA Player in our eyes. You will be missed Good Luck in NYC hopefully you get some help out there and continue to prove everyone wrong! GONE
How long did it take you to realize that Basketball is a Buisness. Trade talks effected your playing. As soon as the trade deadline were over, you started playing better. I wish you the best that New York City has to offer you. I am a Native New Yorker (Born in Queens) and have been a Fan of yours when the Sun’s drafted you. You leaving the SUN’S sits well with me, since I am your FAN! You have a lot of Haters out there Amar’e, so please be careful with your family. Please be careful in New York…It is not Phoenix! Welcome To NEW YORK and The KNICKS!
we want to welcome the big man amar’e stoudemire to the big apple.. we have been waiting for you..with amar’e here we will win season.. nothing can stop us now.. new york ..will get our respect back ..we will win this season… from your ladyamar’e in brooklyn we love you baby!!!!
Welcome Amare. Glad to have you in NY. We all know Lebron and you would make the #1 tandem in the NBA. When you talk and appeal to Lebron let him know NYC and Greenwich are the financial meccas of the world. Also let him know that Greenwich and Westchester county house the finest private schools in the world for his children. I’m a native of the area. It seems to me these two things, plus playing on the greatest stage in the world (Madison Square) with arguably the best PF in the league (you) should make this decision a no brainer for him.
Camp? Thats fly. I have a few students you should sponsor right here in BK. Now that you’re with the Knickerbockers, hopefully you can extend a hand to the chirrun out here. I can help you do that. I havent been a true Knick fan since Starks but a certain supertall cutie brought me back home agian. Congrats.
Amare, can you plz get back to me, im a huge fan, i know you are gonna be busy but i need help, you see i gotta play the PF for a team im gonna be on and i need help on how to improve my game..plz help
Welcom to NYC baby! you are a leader so this fits you well! you will make us proud again, the lights of Broardway will lead the path to many shiny rings. lastly I have to say… Go New york! Go New York GO! STAT CITY NYC!
Well I guess it doesn’t matter much now. Looks like the Heat are the team to beat. I hope it backfies on them, but it’s hard to argue with three superstars in their prime. Hats off to you Amar’e for at least signing with a team before all the pieces fell into place. I miss the good old days. Give me players who stayed put and owners who wanted them to stay!
yo amare…… you should have stayed in PHX cuz without you
they will never win a single ring!!! but thats fine you will arise NYC
and i will follow you wherever you go…. STAT CITY!!! ya baby
WELCOME TO NY!!!!!!!!! DONT JUST MAKE IT ALL ABOUT SPORTS EVERYDAY-TAKE SOME TIME TO ENJOY THE GREAT CITY …YOU’LL FIT IN PERFECTLY–I’m sure u dont remember but we played pool together at backstage in Orlando (Southchase)–and u was true -a real dude — not all about the hype–again well gd luck in NY-and now that i moved back to NY- i can see u th the garden
MAny Blessings………
